IV Hydration & Wellness

Hydration, elevated.

At Arvé Aesthetics in Greenville, SC, IV therapy combines physician-guided care with a comfortable, elevated wellness experience. Our curated IV infusions deliver fluids, vitamins, minerals, and other selected nutrients intravenously, allowing them to enter the bloodstream directly. Whether you are recovering from travel, a demanding workout, a late night, or simply want to incorporate IV hydration into your wellness routine, our clinical team will help you select an infusion based on your individual needs and goals. Every treatment begins with a clinical assessment to confirm IV therapy is appropriate for you.

What Is IV Therapy?

IV (intravenous) therapy delivers fluids, electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals directly into the bloodstream through a small IV catheter placed in the arm. Because the infusion bypasses the digestive system, its contents are available to the body immediately rather than being absorbed gradually through digestion. At Arvé Aesthetics, every infusion is formulated by our clinical team and administered under physician-guided protocols, from routine hydration and recovery blends to our NAD+ program.

What It Addresses

  • Dehydration: fluid and electrolyte replenishment for everyday depletion
  • Post-workout recovery: hydration and nutrient support following demanding exercise
  • Travel recovery: rehydration after flights, time zone changes, or long travel days
  • Heat exposure: fluid and electrolyte replacement after time in the sun or heat
  • Late nights and celebrations: hydration, nutrient, and anti-nausea support for the morning after
  • Everyday wellness: ongoing hydration and nutrient support as part of a regular wellness routine
  • Cellular wellness: NAD+ therapy for patients interested in cellular energy support as part of an individualized plan

Unlike a traditional hydration IV, NAD+ is administered slowly over an extended period. Patients settle into our IV lounge to relax while the infusion is administered and monitored by our clinical team.

What to Expect

Consultation

Every IV therapy visit begins with a clinical assessment. Your provider will review your health history, current medications, and goals to confirm IV therapy is appropriate for you and to help you select the infusion, or NAD+ protocol, that best matches your needs.

The Procedure

Once your infusion is selected, you will be seated in our dedicated IV lounge while a member of our clinical team places a small IV catheter and begins your infusion. Your infusion is monitored by our clinical team throughout your visit.

Duration

Most Essential and Signature IV treatments take approximately one hour. NAD+ is administered more slowly: NAD+ 250 typically takes approximately two hours, and NAD+ 500 typically takes approximately four hours. Appointment duration may vary based on the treatment selected, clinical assessment, IV placement, and individual tolerance.

Who Is Not a Good Candidate?

  • Significant kidney or heart conditions: patients with significant kidney disease, heart failure, or fluid balance concerns may not be appropriate candidates for IV fluid administration
  • G6PD deficiency: high-dose vitamin C is generally avoided in patients with G6PD deficiency
  • Known allergy or sensitivity: patients with a known allergy or sensitivity to any infusion component are not candidates for that formulation
  • Uncontrolled medical conditions: certain uncontrolled medical conditions may require clearance from a primary care provider before treatment

Aftercare

  • Hydration: continue drinking water in the hours following your infusion
  • Activity: normal activities can typically be resumed immediately after treatment
  • IV site care: keep the IV site clean and dry, and contact our office if you notice unusual redness, swelling, or discomfort
  • Follow-up: contact our clinical team with any questions or concerns following your infusion

What is NAD+?

NAD+ is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in cellular energy metabolism and many normal cellular processes.
