What is PRP?

Microneedling with PRP

PRP is applied topically during SkinPen microneedling sessions and driven into the dermis through the microchannels created by the device as treatment progresses. This delivers concentrated growth factors directly where collagen remodeling is actively occurring, enhancing the regenerative effects of the treatment. This is an excellent option for patients looking to improve skin texture, tone, acne scarring, and overall skin quality.

Sexual Wellness

PRP injections at Arvé Aesthetics are used for Penis PRP and Clitoral & Vaginal PRP, regenerative sexual wellness treatments that use your own growth factors to support function, sensitivity, and tissue health. Penis PRP involves injection into the penile tissue; Clitoral & Vaginal PRP involves injection into the clitoral tissue and anterior vaginal wall. These treatments represent a natural, non-hormonal approach to sexual wellness.

What is Cellenis® Derma PRP Biofiller?

Cellenis® Derma is an advanced form of PRP that is processed into a natural biofiller. Through a specialized heating and cooling process, platelet proteins are transformed into a gel-like regenerative filler capable of restoring volume while continuing to release growth factors over time.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid, Cellenis Derma is:

What to Expect

Consultation

Your provider will assess the treatment area, discuss your goals, and confirm whether PRP, Cellenis® Derma, or a combination of both is the most appropriate approach for your needs.

The Procedure

Your treatment begins with a small blood draw, similar to routine lab work. The blood is then processed using advanced centrifugation technology to isolate platelet-rich plasma. For Cellenis® Derma, the plasma is further processed into a regenerative biofiller gel.

Depending on your treatment:

  • Microneedling with PRP: PRP is applied topically during your SkinPen session and driven into the dermis through the microchannels as treatment progresses. Treatment takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
  • Cellenis® Derma Injections: the biofiller is injected into the target area, similar to a traditional filler appointment. Treatment time varies by area but is typically 45 to 150 minutes.
  • Penis PRP and Clitoral & Vaginal PRP: performed by a physician. Your provider will walk you through the full procedure during your consultation.

Downtime is minimal across all PRP treatments. Mild swelling or bruising is possible and typically resolves within a few days.

Results

Results develop gradually as your body regenerates tissue. Many patients notice early improvements within 3 to 4 weeks, with continued progress over 3 to 6 months. Typical improvements include smoother skin texture, improved tone, subtle natural-looking volume restoration, and improved tissue health in treated areas.

PRP & Cellenis Derma Q&A

Is PRP safe?

Yes. PRP uses your own blood, making it extremely safe with minimal risk of allergic reaction or rejection.

Traditional fillers are synthetic gels. Cellenis® Derma is made entirely from your own plasma proteins, releasing growth factors to improve tissue quality over time rather than simply occupying space.

Yes. Because it is autologous, it can be safely injected virtually anywhere: face, neck, hands, buttocks, joints, sexual wellness applications, and beyond.

At Arvé Aesthetics, PRP injections are used specifically for the P-Shot and O-Shot. For facial rejuvenation, we use PRP in combination with microneedling, or Cellenis® Derma biofiller for volume restoration.

Results vary by treatment area and individual, but typically last 6 to 12 months, with ongoing collagen improvement extending the benefit beyond the initial result.

Minimal. Mild swelling or bruising may occur for a few days. Microneedling with PRP follows the standard microneedling recovery timeline.

For microneedling with PRP, a series of 3 to 6 sessions is typically recommended. Cellenis® Derma and the P-Shot and O-Shot protocols are individualized during your consultation.
