As a general rule: hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, niacinamide, and mineral SPF are all good choices during pregnancy. We recommend setting aside retinols or Vitamin A related ingredients until after you’ve finished nursing, and we’re always happy to help you find a pregnancy-safe alternative for anything currently in your routine.
What We Recommend Waiting On
Injectables (neurotoxin and dermal filler), laser and energy-based treatments, microneedling, chemical peels beyond a light exfoliation, and PRP-based treatments are all services we recommend waiting on, since there isn’t safety data available for pregnant patients.
